- No Fool Cobbler
-
- 6 tbls. margarine or butter
- 1 cup self-rising flour
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup milk
- fresh fruit; peaches, blackberries, blueberries, etc.
-
- Melt margarine in 9x13 baking dish.
-
- combine flour, sugar and milk in bowl and mix well. Spread in
- prepared pan. Spoon fruit onto the batter (approximetely 2 cups of
- fruit). Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes until lightly browned
- and center springs back when touched.
-
- The batter rises from the bottom of the dish to the top to make a
- nice crust. You might want to vary the amount of sugar depending on
- the fruit you use.
